Moving  Day

The poster's main concept is to depict my moving day experiences and emotions through a combination of colors, numbers, and textures. The word "MOVE" tells the story of the move, with the number 9 representing the hours spent driving and 156 symbolizing the number of boxes carried. Diverse colors and textures reflect the busyness of the moving day and the mixed emotions of sadness and excitement. Each element was carefully selected to convey these dynamic emotions. The zigzag and overlapping textures specifically enhance the sense of exhaustion from the move, paired with the excitement for the future.

This artwork is one of my personal projects, focusing on typographic experiments. It was selected for TEXTURE, a juried Contemporary Art Exhibition at Overt Space Art Gallery in Stoughton, Wisconsin, and was exhibited in the summer of 2024.
